Tracy Rubens graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from University of South Florida. She received her Master’s Degree from Nova University. She worked for twelve years as an elementary school teacher teaching students in her classroom and working in the school’s after care program. During her tenure in elementary school, Tracy held many positions including Writing Chairperson, Grade Chair, and SAC Committee. Tracy’s career path took a turn when she began working for the Broward County School Board as a teacher coach, offering mentoring to new teachers and assistance in the certification process. Tracy added supervising college students to her academic repertoire when she began working in that capacity for Florida Atlantic University in the Education Department.
In 2012, Tracy joined the Educational Pursuit Team, first as a trainer for entering high school students and then as an instructor and tutor. As an expert in teaching a variety of students from ages kindergarten through adult, Tracy has learned that regardless of the age of the student, each person learns through a combination of learning styles and modalities. Her greatest satisfaction from teaching derives from the outstanding rapport she builds with her students and the overwhelming gains made in their academic achievement due to her dedication and efforts.
